Shows

An Acorn & Rose puppet show is preceded by an introduction geared to the nature of your group. This might be a sing-along and a talk about the puppet play; or in the case of very young children who are sometimes frightened by puppets, a show-and tell introduction to what puppets actually are and how they work. Performances are about forty minutes long (with extra time for the introduction and follow-up). Fees vary depending on distance and the size of your venue and audience. Thumbelina, the beloved fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson, is a forty-minute show with eight characters. Appropriate for very young to older children, it includes songs with help from the audience. Book this show
It was flat out amazing to see how a forty-minute production held the attention of a very mixed group of kids from two to ten years old. The adults were spellbound, too! I loved the interaction, the kids singing and answering the puppets. There should be more of this type of thing. ~ Michelle Jones, The Blue Bottle, Yelm, WA

The Dragon's Visit is a story by Molly Piper about a sister and brother who bicker and bicker and bicker. One day their arguing results in smoke and sparks and hot air - and a big old slobbery yellow dragon appears in their room! This is a funny story with a happy message - singing and laughing along the way. About forty minutes. Book this show

Wouldn't it be something if all our reactions showed up as some kind of creature! The Dragon's Visit is such a fun story, it gave the kids something to think about. We all just loved it - all the color and liveliness - the kids and us adults too!
~ Clare St. Cloud, Rainier, WA

A Walk in the Forest - Rather than risk another visit from the yellow dragon, Hazelnut and his sister Oregano decide to take a walk in the forest. This is another funny, charming tale by Molly Piper, with a surprising bit of nature education. The show may be followed by a look at some real treasures from the woods. Book this show
Oh, God, the wonder of children . . . they realize how precious every small thing is.
Big business, banks, the military and government should all stop to see this little
jewel. Maybe it is small, innocent things that are going to change the world.
~ Alice Stevens, Tacoma, WA
